How we list

What publishes, what waits, and where every fact comes from.

This directory runs on one rule: publish what can be checked, mark the rest confirming. Concretely:

Where every phone comes from

  • "Phone from their website" — read directly off the operator's own website on 2026-10-04.
  • "Phone from their public listing" — from the operator's own Google profile or the national truck-service trade directories, when no website exists.
  • No number is ever invented, and no number from a source we can't attribute gets published.

How operators were found

We ran 11 Houston-area searches across the reefer and transport-refrigeration pack (reefer repair, mobile reefer, thermo king, carrier transicold, trailer repair, refrigerated trailer, APU, and more) and cross-checked every result's website. "9/11 packs" on a listing means that operator's Google listing appeared in nine of those eleven searches — presence you can verify by running the same searches.

What the marks mean

  • 24/7 stated on their site — the operator's own website says it, in those words or equivalent. If their site doesn't say it, the row says confirming — even if we'd bet they answer.
  • Mobile stated on their site — same rule. Riveras' hours block, for example, says weekdays 8–5, so their listing says "no after-hours claim."
  • Dealer network — the franchise/corporate layer (Thermo King, Carrier Transicold), listed because a reefer owner needs the counter sometimes, and marked so it's never confused with the independents this directory centers.

What we don't do

  • No license claims — Texas keeps no reefer-specific license list (EPA 609 refrigerant certification is universal in the trade, not a public registry), so we make no licensing representation about anyone.
  • No reviews, ratings or star counts — the map layer here is nearly all zero-review, and copying stars from anywhere else would be fabricating.
  • No ranking for sale — basic listings are free; payment never moves a row.
  • No dry-van filler — a trailer shop that never mentions reefer work doesn't get listed to pad the count.
